Volunteer duties:
Job Descriptions – Figure Meets
Meet Announcer (1 position) – use the microphone to briefly address the audience and swimmers at various points during the meet. Announce opening of the meet and ending of the meet with results.
Skills – a clear speaking voice.
Figure Announcer (2 positions per panel) -- call out the swimmer number and the figure to be performed, then call out the judge’s scores. Skills: strong, clear speaking voice, good eyesight.
Scorers(3 positions per panel) -- 2 people write down the figure scores on the correct line for each swimmer as the caller says them. Third person enters information directly into I-Pad scoring system. After panel is competed double check all 3 score sheets.
Skills: legible handwriting, good hearing.

Skills – a clear speaking voice
Data entry (2 positions) -- enter judges score sheets into computer software program
Timer (3 positions) -- use a stop watch to record deck and overall time for each routine. Circle middle time and make referee aware of any routine exceeding time maximums.
Music (1 position) -- collect all music, label order/or install on computer, perform sound check for each routine, and play music; return music to each school. CDs, Ipods, Computers
Runner (2 positions) – collect routine scores from each judge after each routine and deliver them to the scorer’s table.
Skills: mobility – a great position for a swimmer’s sibling.
