Captains have set up a twitter account, @synchrogators to communicate updates. If you already have a twitter account, just choose to follow @synchrogators. If you just want to follow us on twitter using text message, all you have to do is text to the number 40404 with the message - follow synchrogators. That is the best way to stay updated with messages about practice and meets. Please have your swimmer (and you) get connected to @synchrogators so they have all the updates.

The Synchro Gators are a competitive synchronized swimming team made up of girls in grades 7-12 from schools across the Osseo School District. The season runs from March through mid-May, culminating at the State Meet held at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.
What is Synchronized Swimming?
The execution of precision movements on, above, and beneath the water, performed to music. To illustrate, imagine... A gymnast performing underwater, a six-minute run without breathing, an ice skater perfecting figure movements in an unstable medium, a dancer's artistic flair in choreographing routines, a water polo player's power and strength needed to extend out of the water, and a long distance swimmer's lung capacity developed for endurance. Add to that combination, grace, fluidity, and synchronization of an entire team and you have just imagined Synchronized Swimming.
